Sri Krishna Institutions aim at establishing centres of excellence in higher learning in the field of Engineering, Arts, Liberal Arts, Science, Management and Vocational education. Sri Krishna Institutions was founded by VLB Trust and Sri Krishna Trust. The promoters were pioneers in running Textile mills, foundry and automobile industry. Sri Krishna Polytechnic College was started by the trust in the year 1980. The trust also started Sri Krishna College of Technology, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Sri Krishna Arts and Science College and Sri Krishna Adithya College of Arts and Science.
The institutions are governed by Smt. S. Malarvizhi, the Chairperson and Managing Trustee and Sri. K. Adithya, the Trustee. A total of over 22,000 students are pursuing their undergraduate, postgraduate and research studies every year. Sri Krishna Institution offers 10 Engineering, 33 Arts, Science and Commerce programmes at the undergraduate level and 20 Arts, Science and Commerce programmes at the postgraduate level. The Institute has 15 recognised / research departments and many scholars are pursuing their PhD degree.
Sri Krishna Institutions (SKI) are offering industry sponsored courses by signing MoU with TCS, BSE, Virtusa and Infosys. Every year more than a dozen professors from American Universities are visiting Sri Krishna Institutions (SKI) and handle classes during their summer sessions. Three of our institutions are Autonomous and accredited to NAAC with A grade, the engineering courses are accredited by NBA.
Sri Krishna Institutions actively participate in MHRD, UGC, AICTE higher education programs. They have participated in AICTE- Smart India Hackathon and hosted the finals continuously for the last 3 years and won many awards. The institution also have a prime place in ATUL and Institution Innovation Council (IIC) Ranking.
The institution has in its fold Google Classroom, Myklassroom and using it as online tools for classroom delivery and home delivery of Lectures, Assignments, and Test etc. for the last 5 years. It also act as an ERP for Education Administration. Their active participation in the Google Classroom has gained International recognition by Google Inc. San Francisco as the highest Number of Google Classrooms in the Higher Education in the Whole World. With our active association with industrial partners like TCS, Infosys, Zoho and our collaboration with Foreign Universities like Texas A&M University, Clayton State University and Concordia College New York, benefit the students to learn in International Standards. Online Certification Courses like NPTEL, SWAYAM, and International Courses from Foreign Universities are encouraged, joined by the students and faculty members. Many of our Students participated in MHRD-AICTE Fight Corona Ideathon and bags Incubation grant worth Rs. 40 lakhs. Our Institution flag waves as Tech Challenge launched by MyGov under the PMO in partnership with MoHFW. The Institution have made an all-round contribution to the National Crisis in sequel to the Indigenous Hand Sanitizers, Reusable Face Masks and Ventilators Splitters which were developed at our research labs and widely promoted and appreciated by all the AICTE-MHRD top officio members in social media all across the nation.

Smt. S. Malarvizhi, the Chairperson and Managing Trustee, plays a pivotal role in establishing a hall mark for Sri Krishna Institutions. Being a beacon for the institution, she leads the Sri Krishna Institutions towards academic excellence. She is well aware of all the boundaries of the academic field, as she started her career as a teacher.
Smt. S. Within a span of three decades, SKIs repute, escalation and triumph crowned the charts in Education sector in every spectrum, with Smt. S. Malarvizhi’s quick-witted leadership style integrated with her focus on effective operational excellence. SKIs under the curator Smt. S. Malarvizhi, with five institutions under her wings which includes two Engineering Colleges (Autonomous and Accredited by NAAC); two Arts and Science Colleges and an Aided Polytechnic College. He has marked his footprint in manufacturing and exporting machinery, managing educational institutions, establishing IT and ITES, business and distributors for international products. He is a managing partner of 6 corporate bodies which are registered and functioning in foreign countries and director of 20 companies established in India. He is a trustee of Sri Krishna Trust and VLB Trust, managing over 22,000 students every year. His companies offer world-class solutions in Engineering, Information Technology, and Higher Education with a global competitive edge.
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. K. Sundararaman M.Com., M.Phil., Ph.D. has 47 years of academic experience in various Institutions. He started his career as Assistant Professor of Commerce and elevated to the position of Head of the Department of Commerce in a leading Autonomous College in Coimbatore. He was also managing all Self – Financing streams in the College for 17 years. He joined Sri Krishna Arts and Science College as Principal in the year 2005 during his tenure the College achieved many laurels including ISO 2008, accredited by NAAC with 'A' grade and Autonomous status from UGC. He became the Chief Executive Officer of Sri Krishna Institutions in the year 2015. He has published five books. He has also published many research articles in Inter - national and National level journals. He is a member of Educational Panel of CII, Coimbatore region. He is also a member of Academic Council of many Autonomous Colleges in Bharathiar University. His expertise include Technology based teaching process, creating E - Learning platform and Outcome Based Education.
